My name is Arianna. I was born and raised in Vancouver, BC, Canada, which means I am both overly laid back and overly Asian. I am a law student currently pursuing a J.D. with lofty ambitions to become the first lawyer to ever quote The Simpsons before the Supreme Court of Canada.
The following are a few of my favourite things.
food
The world would be a sad, dull place without good food and drink. The world would also cease to exist without food and drink, but that’s beside the point.
A&W Root Beer, cheese pizza, chicken with bernaise sauce, chopped scallop cone, cream soda, dim sum, earl grey tea, fried rice noodle with beef, guava juice, honey green milk tea, mango, mashed potatoes, McDonald’s french fries, oyster motoyaki, pho, salmon, sashimi, steak, and Vanilla Coke.

Because of our need to find some hipster, indie band struggling for their art and to tell everyone we know about them so that we can claim we discovered them after they sort of hit it big, I mainly listen to sappy FM shit.

On the odd occasion when I find the time and/or feel quite brainy, I will pick up a book. In most instances, I get through about 75 pages, grow bored, and return the book to the library. In the rare case where I immensely enjoy a book, I get through its entirety and finally purchase a copy of my own—provided it has a nice cover.
The Amazing Adventures of Kavalier & Clay (Michael Chabon), Atonement (Ian McEwan), Girl With a Pearl Earring (Tracy Chevalier), Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire (J.K. Rowling), His Dark Materials (Philip Pullman), Me Talk Pretty One Day (David Sedaris), and Tuck Everlasting (Natalie Babbitt).

I am not easily impressed with many of the actors in Hollywood, mostly because I have no authority to gauge true acting ability. But I admire certain actors all the same because celebrities are just so much hotter than us regular ugmos.
