christmas just wouldn’t be christmas without the viewing pleasure of three consecutive DVD classics and me finding some scarce moment to type out something grand. well, maybe not “grand.”

since i already expended what was left of my inspirational expenditure for the holidays, let’s see what i got for christmas, shall we?

[breaks out into madonna’s “material girl”]

  • many red packets (i embrace my clueless chinese relatives wholeheartedly)
  • the se7en DVD (from my loving sister who acknowledges my keen interest in psychotic killers, methodical homocides, and brad pitt shooting off a gun)
  • thin cotton t-shirts (very practical for the freezing vancouver climate)
  • pajamas (yay, no more wearing old shorts with holes in them)
hurray for christmas, the day i pretend not to care about anything and end up feeling all warm and fuzzy inside in varying degrees. hell, i like this feeling — even if it is only for one day of the year. sometimes the kindness of people whom you take for granted can open your eyes just slightly. and what small eyes i habitually have year round.
