are we all bound by one common urge to make ourselves look good? and for what reason? i thought long and hard about this last night as some devine entity decided to deprive me from sleep. i think inevitably everyone is trying to better their lifestyle, their wardrobe, their cars, and their appeal for the sole benefit of attracting anyone from their sexual perimeter.
why do people go to parties? to find someone with whom they can have sex. why do people drive fancy cars to these parties? to appeal to someone at the party with whom they can later have sex. why do people dress nicely in their fancy cars while driving to these parties? to look attractive for someone, who sees them get out of their car at the party, with whom they later want to have sex. you see the ultimate purpose of our daily life? it is our animal instinct to get laid and finally reproduce.
of course there are the celibates and nuns who wish to never procreate in their lifetimes. they may appear to be the exception to the rule, however, these people are governed by selfish restrictions to maintain their own lifestyle or being manipulated by a faith which abolishes tacit human survival instincts.
whether or not people are willing to admit it, we are all part of the animal kingdom, regardless if “we are the ones with a conscience.” we see murders motivated by greed and rapes based on power struggle; this is nothing more than sick human urge and survival tactic. we all come from the same mixture of mammals with the same biological urges to get laid — some later than others. but in the end, it’s all about the one thing: reproduction.
now that humans are more open to homosexuality and less menacing to individually preferred sexual orientation, the theory of basic reproductive motivation is evolving. perhaps, then, the common urge that binds us is the goal to reach sexual nirvana, no matter what gender our partner may be.
abortion and adoption are merely the resultant ethics from someone who suffers from a psychological ailment that philosophers like to call a “conscience,” which supposedly separates us from the savage beast. this is true to some extent, as we don’t see wild boars shopping at ikea to make their apartments appear enticing to hot dates. but our innate intentions to find someone to sleep with, and perhaps settle down with in the future as a longterm mate, will always be the same throughout the course of human history.
i’m not trying to be narrow-minded here, and i know not everyone is a self-proclaimed sex-fiend. but we are all bound by the same biological urge. so, the fact still remains: why do girls put on make-up? to look good for the boys. it’s as simple as that, which human nature really should be.
