a wonderful frank sinatra song — and an even better utada hikaru remake. a must-download. as most people have suggested, to overcome my fever of laziness, i have tried to set my mind on something that will motivate me.

ubc offers undergraduates the chance to be part of an exchange program to almost anywhere in the world… chile, australia, france, and even the UK. so while on my break from class yesterday i began researching for this chance to get out of here and discovered the eligibility requirements and so forth. of course, i looked up partner universities in england (the mother i never had) and discovered the university of nottingham. although, i’m not sure if this is considered some top-notch school or not. either way, i’m willing to give it a shot. i’d really love to just pack up and leave, and knowing that in two years time i may have the chance of getting out of this place makes me all the more blissful.

the only pin that may puncture my bliss balloon is the money factor. no, i am not a millionaire or even a thousandaire, for that matter. my parents don’t pay for my tuition and everything is twice as expensive in england, especially the living/dormitory expenses. ah well, i have two years to worry about this. now, to just keep up my average…
