i don’t trust the praising quotes that they put in movie commercials now. i don’t even trust the little stars out of four that are placed beside the reviews in the newspaper. i have wasted so much money on crappy films, some even too embarrassing to mention. it’s not good. especially here in vancouver where movies are crazy expensive and especially when you are as broke and jobless as i.

i have resorted to watching late night television to keep myself entertained (oh, that conan o’brien!). renting dvds is alright, although even that is getting rather pricey nowdays. i gave up on reading, seeing as how i have mysteriously misplaced my library card and i can’t think of any book that would leave me feeling fulfilled after having read it from cover to cover. any suggestions, movies or books?
