i wore my new harry potter gryffindor scarf the other day, only to receive strange looks from people at school and a couple of people mumbling “harry” under their breath. ok, so i haven’t even read the books. i am lacking the time to do so. nonetheless, i adore the classic prep school scarves sported by harry, ron, and hermoine in the movies. look how cool:

i actually look like harry potter there; the resemblence is uncanny. so, the scarf — ooh la la or fashion faux-pas? (note: i will wear it regardless of the majority opinion.) i happen to really like it. it gives some oomph to my outfits and some bounce in my step.
