i’ve realized how late it is to take up a lot of things i wish i had when i was younger. i wish i had taken vocal lessons and guitar lessons. i wish i had been taught to speak chinese (or at least a second language i can use). i wish i had been part of an out-of-school sports team.

and now it’s too late because i’ve gotten into a routine of apathy towards joining anything new, unless considered extremely important by the general mass (e.g., university). i wish my parents had pushed me a bit more to take up new hobbies when i was a kid; i know it sounds like i’m blaming them, but when you’re five you really have no independent will of your own yet. so, i blame them.
