i use the personal experiences of the lord as excuses for my own behaviour.
mom: i don’t like it when you drink alcohol.yeah, jesus hates me.
me: jesus drank wine.
mom: your hair is getting too long. i think you should cut it.
me: jesus had long hair.
mom: maybe you shouldn’t wear open-toe shoes to the dinner.
me: jesus wore sandals.
