school is drawing nearer and nearer, like a blackhole sucking all of my attention and time. if things go according to plan, i will be graduating with a degree next summer. and if things really go according to plan, i will be commencing my studies at UBC law in september 2005. but things usually have a way of falling apart before my eyes.
but, before i bore you with talk about my obscure future as a poor student, i’d like to discuss with you a more pressing matter, an issue that strikes a chord in my heart. and that is capitalization. i’ve been writing on my weblog for almost four years now without use of capital letters at the start of every new sentence. i’ve been so used to the lower-case alphabet; all twenty-six of my tiny babies have failed to grow up under my suffocating care into the mature upper-case letters they were meant to become. yes, my friends: the time has come to capitalize.
Well, this is strange. I guess the bigger “W” isn’t so different from the little one. “I” looks a bit strange to me, though. The quick brown fox jumped over the lazy dog. Supercalifragilisticexpealadocious. The rain in Spain falls mainly on the plain. This isn’t so bad, really. I could get used to this.
Oh, who am I kidding? This is totally weird! Auuuugh! Can’t… Stop… using… cute… little letters.
phew, that was a close one.
