final-ly

i’ve been very busy recently not only finishing up my final finals of my undergraduate career, but also starting full-time work again for the summer. in the time i have had to myself, i’ve scratched my head and thought about what i could post here, what incredibly interesting, quirky, witty anecdote i could mind-dump on my website.

i’m still scratching.

anyway, since europe is a no-go this summer, i’m working my way towards going there after the summer, when the busy season dies down a bit and, more importantly, when i have a substantial amount of moola to go.

now that school is over and i am completely free from the shackles of study, i have time to read whatever books i so choose. any recommendations of the dramatic and funny fictional sort, that will take my mind off of the fact that my future following the summer is so utterly murky, would be appreciated.

because my eyesight has gotten tremendously worse in the last couple of years, i recently obtained contact lenses, which is one item that can be checked off on my list of “things to do this summer because, honestly, you have nothing better to do, you walking bathrobe”. i’m still getting the hang of having to touch my own eyeballs.

summer is finally here, and i’m going to try to love every minute before it ends and i’m out of a job — just the thought of having to go to the state unemployment office and having to stand in line with those scumbags! (that’s an office space reference, just in case you thought i was hopelessly politically incorrect.)
