one of the things that freaks me out about getting older is shrinking. i mean, i’m not getting any taller; the only way to go now is down, to shrink back to kid stature when people could mistake me for a midget. i’ve seen way too many elderly chinese ladies who look like mini-napoleons to assuage this fear.
